This sculpture is a part of the Dogwood Arts Art in Public Places Program, an annually rotating sculpture exhibition that takes place across Knoxville, Oak Ridge, and Alcoa. While many of the artists included in the program aren’t local like the rest of the makers on display at Maker Exchange, participating in the Art in Public Places Sculpture Program connects us to other sites of cultural significance across our city. Experience more public art just a few blocks away in Krutch Park, at Zoo Knoxville, Emory Place, McGhee Tyson Airport, UT Gardens, and at ORNL Federal Credit Union branches on Northshore Drive and in Oak Ridge.
