Valerie England

A native of East Tennessee and currently residing in Knoxville, Valerie England is a self-taught artist who began exhibiting she abstract and non-representational paintings in 2020. An intuitive painter, she enjoys exploring color relationships with layers and loose forms, responding spontaneously as the painting develops. She often uses music, language and the natural landscape as inspiration. Her intention is for her artwork to connect with the spirit and to reflect the unspoken feelings we hold inside us.
