Ashley Dawn Addair

Recited in alternating tones of delight and exasperation, Addair’s work wrestles with macro questions at an individual and familial scale. Examining how the particulars and pace of our age interface with the messy complexity of our inner landscapes she questions socially constructed notions and ruminates on the relationship between physical and ideological structures. Her practice works across media and is deeply embedded in the quotidian. She is currently pursuing her MFA at The Art Institute of Chicago.
